Our name means ‘more’ in Gaelic and ever since we were founded in 2007 that’s what we’ve tried to deliver; more understanding, more support, more answers. One thing we don’t deliver is more data. Nobody needs more information. They’ve got that in spades. What’s missing is insight. Our job is to piece together the data you already have and then reveal what’s about to happen. To predict problems, so you can prevent them.
Comet Global Consulting
Comet Global Consulting is a fast growing consultancy that specialises in inbound and outbound CRM, marketing and decision management solutions. We deliver high-impact strategy and technical consulting and provide ongoing development and operational support services through our Customer Interaction Centres in London UK, Barcelona Spain, and in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Today we employ over 300 people across Europe and US and work for some of the world’s biggest names in media, mobile communications, financial services and retail. In a world where patients are currently treated using an often ineffective ‘one size fits all’ model, the judgements behind which treatments and therapies are used is increasingly becoming an exercise in data science. But data by itself is not enough; it is our ability to communicate and collaborate around it that is key to transforming human health.
Aridhia is a pioneering company using its data platform, AnalytiXagility, to help research, life sciences and healthcare organisations to unleash the combined power of community and data to reinvent how care is delivered.
Digital World is an initiative to promote careers in the digital technology industry. It has been developed by Scotland's digital technologies sector and Skills Development Scotland. Our aim is to meet increasing demand in the jobs market to support the long-term tech industry in Scotland. To do this, we need to inform people about the variety of opportunities in digital technology. There’s so much more to the sector than coding, which is just one of the many rewarding, creative roles that shape our world.
We’re also here to show that careers in digital technology are accessible for all, whether you’re a student, a recent graduate, or looking to change careers. We therefore aim to smash preconceptions about the sorts of people who work in this fast-growing industry. In fact, many of us already have the skills needed to switch to a digital technology career.
Most importantly, we want to inspire people to challenge convention and make a difference with tech. That’s why we highlight the amazing ways digital technology betters lives, and showcase Scotland’s worldwide success stories in the sector.
